That's funny. I guess I should of specified that OSU is The Ohio State University, not Oklahoma State University.
It does remind me of a study which showed more Michigan grads work for Ohio State grads, than vice versa

In all fairness, that's not due to higher calibre workforce coming out of Ohio...that's due to the Michiganders having to migrate outward for work. That State has fallen apart; I think it started when App State beat them in the season opener.
Also, if Ohio State insists on being called "The" Ohio State University, their acronymn should be TOSU. Being proud of being "The" Ohio State University is like saying, "I'm 'The' Number One ********** in All of Kazakhstan."
I feel really sad for the people who say they aren't involved in or don't care about their spouse's hobbies.
By the way, buying purses and shoes is not a hobby to me.
Regardless, my wife and I are a part of each other's lives, and that includes our hobbies.
Some of you sound you either don't want to be or shouldn't be married in the first place.
Well, I have more respect for THE Ohio State University than any college in Texas so...........maybe the 'THE' is warranted?
I wouldn't say that. I think everyone needs their own thing to do. If any of my friends or family or significant other want to be a part of it then it's much appreciated. But I don't need it and I have certainly come not to expect it either. You can't expect people to understand of get involved with everything you do. That's why you need to have common things you both love to do.
What is your problem with Texas or the schools of the Best COUNTRY on Earth??
I think he was mainly touching on the fact that a lot of these poor married suckers have wives that arent indifferent, but rather AGAINST their hobby of Card Collecting.
I don't think I could ever marry a man and be UPSET and a XXXXX about things he's passionate about.........the passionate things are what lead me to them!!!
I mean if you were blowing your whole paycheck on cards before feeding the family or paying bills then yah, you gotta cut that out....
But a lot of you seem to have broads that are using your card collecting as a venting port for frustration and stress!!!

Well said, everyone's definition of a healthy relationship is different. However, most seem to agree that one becomes 'most' healthy when they do things (such as hobbies) separately. The reason I love her so is because of our differences, as well as our similarities. I would hate to encroach on everything she does, and I know she feels the same. In the end, it is always nice to have something 'just for you'.
1- We're nowhere near the BEST country, and I can tell you that first hand.
2- I have nothing against schools, I'm a teacher.
3- I don't have a problem with Texas, so ok.

I believe you are 100% wrong. My #1 hobby in the world (flyfishing) is the same as my wife's. It has brought us closet than anyone we know.
Bottom line....if you love your sig. other then sprnd time with them doing anything!!!!!!

I believe you are 100% wrong, if you love your significant other then you will allow them to be an individual and cherish them for it.
