There are many ideas out there as to the definition of vintage sportscards. Some feel vintage is pre-war while others feel vintage is 1950's and back. I was just curious as to what everyone's idea of vintage is. Mine happens to be pre-1974 when Topps started issuing cards all at once.

Looking for other's ideas.

Because I have such fond memories as a kid of the 1977 Topps, this is the cut off for me.

For me anything that is 35 years or old is consider vintage. Now that will be a problem when 1989 upperdeck and chrome is 35 years old  how am i gonna call chrome or upperdeck stuff vintage..

1980 for me. I am a 1980 model myself and will not allow anything younger than me to be considered "vintage".

I'll go with 1980 as the cut-off.

Great set, with great HOF iconic RC, and it was the last year of just Topps.

And also those '81 releases were SOOOO bad, in every aspect...

Gotta go with Pre-1970. I was born in '79, so I don't consider anything (myself included :)) from the '70's to be vintage.
