1979-80 Topps Stan Mikita. Any Blackhawk was a great card...but Mikita was the man.

In 1988, I pulled two--two Bo Jackson rookies from a cello pack of football. The dealer where I bought it--I opened it there in the store--about fell all over himself. That was a $12 card at the time when I pulled them. That was pretty exciting.

1991 Donruss Ryne Sandberg Elite auto. Pulled it from a box I opened with my dad when I was 10. Pretty awesome.

I remember to this day biking to the drug store to buy a few packs. I grabed a pack of 1993 Stadium Club baseball, and on the way home me and my neighboor stopped at a park to open our packs and I pulled a Frank Thomas/Ryne Sandberg Second City Sluggers insert. At the time it was the best card I owned. Nothing huge, but I remeber being super excited.

I bought so many packs of 1993 topps. These black golds were awesome back in the day!

Yes, I said 5&10, called Newberry's, if anybody remembers them...

Yessir, I remember Newberry's... we had one at the Great Lakes Mall in the 'burbs of Cleveland. Brings back a lot of memories of walking down the pet section.

For Tigers, 1981 Topps Kirk Gibson RC (my first year of collecting baseball cards)

For Non-Tigers, 1984 Donruss Don Mattingly RC (yes, I had 3 years of pulling various stars prior to this but this one was something I really wanted to end up pulling)

1951 Bowman Luke Easter...... Completed my 1951 set. Of course there were many other great cards in the set, but finally pulling the Easter was the topping on the cake. I was 13 at the time.
