For me it was Fedor VS Crocop here in Japan at Pride Final Conflict 2005. The #1 and #2 heavyweight fighters in the world finally going at it after what had been a looooong build. The place was jam packed, sold out. People were going INSANE when both made their entrances. Never have I ever experienced a crowd like that. MMA will never reach that point again IMO.

Have two.

1. 1998 Padres NLDS against the Astros as a kid. Place was rocking. Unfortunately didn't go to NLCS or WS.

2. Heat at Lakers when Kobe hit
that ridiculous sideways fadeaway three over Dwayne Wade to win the game. Staples was going absolutely nuts after that shot.

2006 NLCS Game 7, Mets vs Cardinals, only playoff game I've ever been too, towels waving, stands shaking, especially after Endy Chavez made his catch, and then it got super quiet after Beltran didn't swing...

For me it'd be the '08 NLDS Game 4 at Miller Park. Crowd was so hungry until the 6th pitch of the game. After that it was mostly half-hearted and the noise was easily cut in half. Close second was the '11 NLDS Nyjer Morgan clincher

2011 NLDS, extra innings, when Nyjer Morgan's walk-off RBI scored GoGo. It was Milwaukee's first series win in decades and the place went NUTS.

Also, way back in 2003, the year after Ohio State won the National Championship, I was sitting downtown Madison when Lee Evans caught a pass down the sidelines and Wisconsin went on to win the game and defeat the highest ranked team they'd ever faced. State Street (the downton area that leads off campus) flooded with fans and it neared riot-control limits. I watched it all from a bar window in awe.

Game 5, 1969 World Series.

Crowd went beserk when Cleon Jones caught the last out. I was even allowed to get on the field and I ran the bases. I was only 9 at the time but it seems like it was only a few days ago.

Here are mine.

1. October 4th, 2009 - Royals @ Twins.

-This was supposed to be the "last" game at the Metrodome for the Twins. They forced the tie breaker. 40,000+ people going nuts, booing "Belivin'" by Journey, and chanting "Let's go White Sox." It was insane.

2. August 4th, 2013 - Beetles @ Stingers

-Sure, it's the Northwoods League, and not Major League baseball. Still, when someone is a strike away from a no-hitter, the crowd tends to be on edge, living and dieing off every pitch, and every swing of the bat. It was something special. Even though he gave up a hit with 1 out to go, it was still spectacular.

3. March 25th, 2011 - MSHSL 2A Stat Basketball Tournament Quarterfinal Game

-When it comes to high school sports, I couldn't care less about basketball. Still, I felt I should support my friends and show up to the game. The student section was so insane, they brought cops, ropes, and security guards out as preliminary "crowd control." After 4OT, they couldn't secure the win. Still, it was incredible to watch. There was a video, but it's gone now.

Best......game.......ever! (Not really, but an awesome game)

Mine would be a 2008 WWE Raw and SmackDown dual taping in St. Louis.

Vicki Guerrero had SOOOOOOO much heat. She was in the ring, talking on the mic, and the crowd was making so much noise they drowned her out. She was screaming into the mic, and you literally couldn't hear her over the noise of the crowd. It was amazing. I've never heard a crowd so loud. And this went on for a good 10 minutes of her trying to get through this promo, with the crowd not allowing it.

Game one of the 2011 World Series was pretty insane.

But the best crowd at a baseball game I have ever been a part of was Michael Wacha's near no hitter last season. Electric from the 5th inning on.

Three events stick out in my mind, in reverse order:

3) Packers vs Seahawks Playoff Game January 4th, 2004 - The Packers started off the season 1-4, then rattled of 9 out of 11 to get past the rival Vikings for the Division. My first playoff game at Lambeau. The game was back and forth, Longwell missed a 47 yarder at the end of regulation and the game went to OT. At the coin toss, Seattle won the toss and as clear as day you could hear Hassledick say "We'll take the ball, and we're gonna score!". Well we all know how well that worked out for Matt and the Seahawks. Al Harris read him like a book, jumped on the play, picked him off and ran it back for the game ending TD. So so sweet, the bleachers at Lambeau were shaking.

2) Twins vs. Tigers Game 163 - No explanation needed here

1) 2002 PGA Championship at Hazletine - Rich Beem defeats Tiger Woods. Championship Sunday, got to the course at 6AM to get a seat in the 18th bleachers. Watched Pat Perez finish 18 holes in under 90 mins, as he was the first one out and was playing solo due to his playing partner scratching out. Anyways, to start the day, Tiger was Tied for 4th at -4, Rich Beem was in 2nd at -6 playing with leader Justin Leonard at -9. So TW was 5 back to start the day, tough number to overcome. Well Leonard had carded a +3 thru 9, Beem -2 and Woods -3. So the back 9 stood like this, Beem -8, Tiger -7, Leonard -6. After 14th hole, Beem stood at -5, Beem at -10. No way Tiger could make up 5 shots with 4 to play. As you are sitting on 18, you can hear roar after roar and when you look up at the manual scoreboard, you see Tiger -6, then -7, then -8. You are sitting on 18 and you see Tiger walking up the right side of the fairway in the beat down rough. You hear the crack of the iron, you see the ball approaching and it lands and rolls to within 2 feet of the cup! :-o Amazing shot. Tiger taps in and goes to -9, he just went -4 on arguabley the 4 toughest holes on Hazeltine. The crowd went nuts. I have never seen an army of people walking with a group like with Tiger. NNFC. Yes Rich Beem went on to win the PGA that year, but Tiger did what he said he had to do to have a chance to with the Championship, he told Steve Williams after he went back to back bogey on 13 and 14, "If we want to win this, we have to birdie out" (this is what Tiger said he said to Steve during the post championship interviews). Championship Game of the 2013 Caribbean World Series: Mexico vs Dominican Republic. Mexico won after 18th innings. It was the first event of the Estadio Sonora (similar to Salt River Fields) in Hermosillo, Mexico.
