I sold this once a very long time ago. I believe this may be the only one as it was a redemption card in 1998 and the stated print run was 25. They do not show up very much.

That being said, if I was offered a ridiculous amount for it, I would consider it.

I'd sell anything as well. But, I have no inclination to sell most of my Colts stuff.

This also might sound dumb, but I have a 1989 Fleer Ken Griffey Jr. card that I've had since I was 12 years old (Owned for 20 years now and still in the original top loader). I wanted one so bad when I was a kid but still couldn't come up with the $10 to buy before then and couldn't pull one out of a pack for the life of me. Finally had some money when I went to visit my aunt in Houston and stopped at a card shop that just so happened to have one. So, if someone wanted to offer money on it, I'd probably sell one of the other ones I own instead. I feel comfortable know that someone isn't going to be like "I'll give you $200 for it" since they are dime a dozen.

My Yadi Black... I pulled it, and thought that it looked just like the regular RC's so it sat unnoticed for like 6 months! It got me into collecting his stuff!

Cool! I'm sure it is a memory you will treasure forever... my such memory is a 3 for 3 game on the road in high school my senior year against our arch rivals. They shut us out 9-0 that game, but I was quite thrilled going 3 for 3. Oh, the opposing pitcher that game was named Todd Helton. Rumor has it he has succeeded in life.

1. A buddy of my Dad's gave me a mid-grade Yaz rookie years ago that I promised to never sell. (Print marks on front)

2. I have a couple different low numbered Inserts that I've tried to hoard most of /25. A couple of years ago I sold off one of these "Sets" and found out that nobody else thought it was a cool thing. Got nothing for it, so now I know that selling them would not be financially rewarding LOL...

This. My favorite cards are a PSA 10 GOld Refractor 2002 BC Cole Hamels and my 1972 Puerto Rican sticker PSA 7 of Mike Schmidt, but... if the right deal comes along, they're gone. Everything's replaceable.

For some all is replaceable, for others, there is no replacing "everything" or anything.

1960 Topps Mickey Mantle #350 (all banged up). That was the first card that started my collection 30 years ago. My Dad gave it to me for my birthday.

My very first Musial card, 1948 Bowman RC, purchased in 1985 by me at my local card shop with my allowance I had saved up. Somehow, someway, thru multiple moves over the last 27 years, I still have this card. I got the card signed by Musial thru the Feller Museum just over a year ago, then let it out of my sights for a second time to have slabbed by PSA for protection purposes. This card will not willfully leave my collection ever, as it is not replaceable from my perspective

A little while later I picked up this "Killer" card.

Again sorry, I just couldn't decide on one. Sorry for the huge scans.

Ohh tough one, I have many....a lot were gifts from other FCB members that I won't ever part with and some are cards I finally landed after some time. Any card I own of a Red Sox player I would have trouble parting with. You guys might think I'm crazy (after reading some of the posts) but if I had a choice between my collection or the $$ it's worth I would take my collection all day long. My collection means a lot to me, and money comes and goes.

Agreed 100%, Chris. Very nice Musial, that's definitely a keeper. :)

Mine is an auto'ed 'RC' of my guy as well...generously given to me by shanks25 (Whom I haven't seen around here much :/) after he saw how jealous of it I was (even though I let him bid on the auction, 3 card auto'ed lot). He did get his enjoyment out of it but manoman if he could have seen my face when I opened the package! Favorite player + favorite set + red ink = WIN

At the time it was my 5th 39 PB Doerr, but my first auto'd. I got it slabbed a couple years ago. Red flip looks great on this one.

Good topic considering I ask myself when the time comes my collecting funds are more limited, what do I keep and what do I sell, and what do I focus on. To answer the OP's question, it would be hard since I collect 4 sports in varying degrees on top of a player collection. In the end it would be a card from my player pc that would last the longest since it's my favorite card of his and the first 1/1 I bought of Kopitar:

I like it so much, I have been considering it getting it graded or slabbed to protect it more, but I fail to mail it out time and again at possible risk of losing it.
