I think there is a weird cross-over of people that break NT from the other sports and think the product hits should sell like the other sports. But they seemingly have no clue what the market is for the players they are listing. I can only site Robin Yount as a current example, but it seems like every BIN I see of a NT Yount card is WILDLY outside what the going rate is for virtually the same card from some other release.
Look, I know a 4/10 on-card auto is nice and all, and I'd love to have it, but no one with any grasp on the going rate for his stuff is going to pay $124.99 for it. You can get #/10 cards from Sterling, UD Heroes or 2005 UD Cooperstown for less than $50; and the top of his hat isn't missing in the pictures on the card.
I just don't get it, other than (like I said) new people think they understand the product, but clearly don't understand the player markets.
Anyone else notice this in the stuff they are seeing?
