I try to limit myself to $200.00 a month. I'm curious to see what every one else spends.

Whatever I make in sales is what I use. Every now and then I'll go ahead and buy a box out of pocket, but that doesn't happen very often at all

Whatever is in my paypal, since I rarely buy cards in person anymore. Some months (like this last month), it can be $80. Some months it's $5-$10. Really depends on the sales I make

Usually though around January it spikes anywhere from $150-$300 because of TwinsFest and the Caravan being wedged in between Christmas and my birthday.

Really depends if a card I really want pops up or not. But $200 a month is my monthly limit.

kinda depends on what comes up in life. I try to keep it to a few hundred bucks a month but you never know. Sometimes I don't buy anything at all. depends I guess on what pops up on ebay that month

Like most others, I try to avoid going over $200, and most times I'm able to stay well below that goal. Once in a while, something shows up that I have to break the bank for, so I just try to balance that out over other months.

It can vary greatly. Sometimes I'll spend $10-$20 but then I'll splurge on a big card. My average is probably under $50 for the last year.

I do the same thing.I doubt I have spent more than $20 out of my pocket for the whole year.

Good question and I was actually giving this some thought for my 2013 goals because I honestly don't have a budget and that's not good LOL.... my head would probably come spinning off if I actually ran the numbers for what I spend on average per month last year on Belle cards or just cards in general.

I think $250/month is a good number, puts you at about $3k a year on cards. Then again, if you sell cards, this number can be higher, etc.

My habits are skewed really.

Last year I went about 6 months without buying or trading for anything then got the itch to buy.

Normally, it's around $200-300 a month but can be more or less depending on if I sell anything

I probably spend around $300-500 a month but don't set a specific budget. I don't buy high-dollar stuff but all of those $10 cards add up fast, plus a box or two, plus a $50 card here and there. I don't sell stuff unless I pull something great or find a major steal in a bargain bin, so there's not something incoming to keep costs down.

I usually wont spend more than $500 out of my pocket in a month. With Spring training coming up, I can probably get away with spending $500 in a month from sales alone and still have money left over.

I think some people are getting "What is your monthly card buying budget?" confused with "What do you spend monthly on cards?"

These are two COMPLETELY different questions...

:geek: Budget (a noun) - An estimate of income and expenditure for a set period of time

Not to be picky but most people are just saying what they spend monthly on cards... the question is do you have a budget and if so, how much is it.
