Nice call on Jorge Bucardo. The Giants have taken their time with his development. And he's still young. It seems like I've been following him and his brother Wilber forever. Jorge will probably begin the year in San Jose.

Another SFG pitching prospect I'm going to watch is Seth Rosin. A college pitcher drafted last year who could move quickly through the minors. Big frame with good control of low to mid 90's heat. Super cheap too. Gold refractors for around $10.

I hope we are both right on Bucardo. I have a monster stash of his autos!

Hoping that Michael Belfiore turns it around this season, and he doesn't end up in the pen as a lefty specialist.

32 chromes, 2 purple, 3 blue, 3 gold, and 3 orange refs are counting on him.

Wendell Fairley-- Back in 2008, a choice between him or some guy name Jason as the next power bat, guess who I picked to hold and who to sell... ::facepalm::

Same boat. It's too bad he only hit 1 HR while in San Jose last year in home run friendly Cal League. And he hit it away.

I spoke to you, Lisa, in the past about Fairley, but I can tell you I am EXTREMELY glad to have moved all I had of him (a bunch of color up to Gold, with some nice graded stuff as well), without losing much on the investment whatsoever (sold to a Giants fan who still had hope in him prior to last season).

I really want to know where all of his power went though, he looked like a stud in the making.

As for the topic at hand Skrip, no one....yet.

I have a decent paypal stash I could pump into a prospect or two, just to get back into the prospecting game. Been over two years since I actively bought any prospects, would give me something to do during these boring (and slow) Afghani winter months.

Hmmm....how so? Do you know how much I had, what I paid for them and what I sold them for?

Or, is that just you trying to be argumentative for arguments sake?

Please let me know which one, so I know.

If you paid going rates in 2007,2008 there is no way you made back your investment.

I never said I made my investment back, I said I didn't lose much.

I paid 08 rates, which were already lower than 07 rates and even picked up a few things even cheaper in 09.

I jumped ship finally early last year, when I found a Giants prospects collector who was looking for a decent amount of Fairley stuff. I traded "down" for other prospects cards, that I got near what I put into Fairley, once sold.

Now, had I waited until the season started? I probably would have lost out on more than the 10% or so hit I took. 10% to me does not equal losing out on much, btw.

Todd Frazier. Not invested, just have one draft base auto. They have brought him along so slowly I think he'll be able to produce right away.
