Strasburg and Latos are the two I always try and catch if my schedule permits.

Watching Pedro Martinez absolutely dominate in the late 90's early 2000's is what I immediately thought of. His 2000 season was probably in the top 5 greatest seasons ever pitched. Take into account all the guys juicing during this period and it makes it more impressive.

Of course Verlander and Chapman are awesome to watch.

I also loved watching those Cuban guys (El Duque, Livian and Contreras) go at it. The way they changed their arm angles and speeds of the pitches was brilliant.

Although I already posted in this thread (with Dwight Gooden as my choice), I really feel bad for all the young people on here that never got a chance to see Nolan Ryan pitch. As great as his fastball was, when he had his devastating 12-6 curveball working, he was unhittable, as evidenced by his 7 no hitters and 12 one hitters. If you ever get a chance to watch one of his no hitters (they replay them sometimes on MLB network and ESPN Classic), be sure to watch.

Current ML players, King Felix.

Ron Guidry in the late 70's-early 80's

And the greatest season a pitcher has ever had that I have seen was Bob Gibson in 1968. Followed him all season long, a 1.12 ERA for the season.
