I have over 6000+ Bowman Prospects and Bowman Draft Picks base cards. What should I do with them? Should I attempt to make sets out of them or break them into team lots? I would like to sell them if possible, but just wondering what in the world to do with all of them. Selling as a lot would get me next to nothing so just trying to figure out what some good possibilities would be. Anyone have any ideas?

Give them away or put sets together....about the only thing you could do....maybe player lots if they are RCs and MLB Logo RCs.....other than that, not even worth your time to mess with.

If you have the time and patience either create player lots or sets. Sets sell for some $ but not much, player lots of base bowman don't sell that well either.

Actually, I did think about giving them away. Maybe I will hold a contest some time down the road and give them away in two seperate lots. Would be a major pain to sort through them even by teams to get next to nothing in return for them. I will have to think of how to set up a contest. My garbage can now be someone elses.

I was referring more to cards for kids or some charity that would benefit from them....dont know of too many members that would be excited about getting 6000 bowman base cards, not to mention the cost of shipping them.....

That's not a bad idea. I wonder if my hospital has anything like that. I will check into it. Maybe if I donate they won't think of laying me off. Not intended as a joke either, we just lost our business manager yesterday. Thanks for the idea.

1.) Ship all of the Bumgarners to Anthony.
2.) Shower in the remaining cards.
;)
Just messin' around, I'm sure kids would be stoked to get that many new cards.

well, giving any extra cards you have to a children hospital pretty much guarantees your place at the top
of the karma line :)

You guys are odd. What about at least selling them or giving them away to set builders.I know I just pm'd the OP about my set needs and hopefully he can find a nice chunk of stuff I need.Just remember...just because you guys think cards that are not super duper 1/1 superfractor auto's are worthless doesn't mean they are. There are plenty of set builders on this site.

I put mine on ebay at auction with $40 s/h and see what I can get. Usually make around $100 or so provided you can show that some of the bigger names are included.

I give mine to my son's school. The school then gives out team bags to the kids after the get so many "being good" points. Eventually some of these cards return to their home. It's always kinda funny to see some cards I remember sending out. Yes, I do give him boxes of cards too, cause I know you where thinking it.
