don't you have shows around you?

I have tons of shows that will trade for or buy that stuff....

Not a ton, but $50-$60.

OR, pull out the big names, I just got $70 for a 100 count Samardzia lot.....

I guess my question would be are they base cards (current players in the majors) or are they non chrome prospect cards.

If they are the non prospect cards, I would put them on a table at a show for 5 cents each or 30-40 for $1.

If they are the prospect cards, I would cherry pick the better cards out of it (say the ones that book for $1 or more) and put those into a box that would be 25 cents each or 5 for $1, and the rest in a box that would be 10 cents each or 15 for $1. I sold (well I actually traded) a box of 3000 rookie (rookie logo), prospects (chrome, non-chrome and non licensed (DLP)) for $250.

Or what I have seen people do is load Flat Rate shipping boxes up and charge people the cost of shipping and maybe a little more for your time. It gets rid of the cards, and it puts them in the hands of people who might have some want or use for them.

No crap.I have a guy at a flea market that takes all cards (stars or not) and gives me about $10 to $12 for a blaster full of them.I can't imagine what he'd give me for several thousands.Especially with some decent prospects in there.Maybe a few hundred bucks I could use towards new wax or even maybe towards some nice singles he has. That's why I say I'd be glad to take them off people's hands.

Besides...the way I look at it is maybe 10 or 15 years down the road that may be the set to have and then you have a whole box sitting around for set collectors to come in and nab.Or just regular set collectors to browse through. You know how hard its been completing my sets because nobody keeps or lists a lot of the common base cards.I am still missing stuff from 79 topps for this very reason. So I appreciate and always give my business tyo people who have large lots of base to fill set needs.
