What was your most unpleasant experience at a baseball game?

Mine was a minor league game, but I got stung by a bee which led to me spilling a soda all over myself... Yeah, that sucked... lol

Nothing really. I always have a good time. Except when people get up and go to the concession stand 200 times in one freaking inning. But other than a minor irritation, I'm cool.

I was at an exhibition tournament for USA Baseball's 18u team and a tornado warning was called during Nicky Delmonico's at bat and we had to leave the stadium. We took refuge at a MacDonald's and the warnings just kept coming. I didn't officially hear if any actually touched down, but that sucked. We went the next day though so I still got to see the team play.

Other than that, the occasional obnoxious drunk fans or the occasional person that thinks it's hilarious when he yells nonsense at the field.

I was at a different sporting event and just about got hit in the face with a krutch. I didn't so much appreciate that.

One time at a minor league game some guy was pushing the kids around to catch the foul balls. I was moving all the time to let the ball bounce and let the kids get them but this guy kept getting it.
Also 3 rows in front of me At a Phillies game a guy took a foul ball off his mouth and someone else got the ball. They took the guy back and fixed him up (he lost a tooth) He wanted the ball. The guy would not give it to him. We all were chanting "give him the ball" Then the third base ump came over and gave the guy with the ball one from the field if he gave the ball to the guy who got hit. he finally did.

Last year I took my 6th grade class to an Indianapolis Indians (AAA-Pirates) game. I think I saw maybe 10 pitches. I was constantly bathroom/concession monitoring all game. Not really enjoyable for me, but the kids had a blast.

i have to say the constant drunks. I'm like 6 rows off the field, the drunk is usually like 15-20 rows off the field. Drunk starts before the game starts consuming alcohol and is already plastered by the 3rd/4th inning and heckles the rest of the game and annoys me and I'm sure tens of others in the rows around him.

It would be nice if alcohol was banned from the game, but I understand it's a big money maker for the clubs. I don't drink at the game because I'm not there to f around, i'm there to enjoy a live baseball game as a fan of the game and I don't need a fake experience to love the game in person.

I'm a Mariners season ticket holder and I was at one game late last season where it was late in the game and the M's were way behind, so I was chatting about non-baseball related stuff with the guy who has the seats next to mine (we are good friends). After about 5 minutes a guy two rows ahead of us stands up, turns around, launches into an f-bomb laden tirade directed at us and then storms up to compain to the usher. The topic of our conversation - hot sauce (seriously, the entire convesation was about hot sauce and neither of us had been drinking). The guy never came back and the usher for our section that we know really well came down to see if the guy who stormed out was serious that we should be kicked out for talking about hot sauce. We told the usher that was all we were talking about and she did ask the people around us if any of them were offended by the conversation, everyone said no and the couple behind us even said they were eavesdropping on our conversation because they really liked hot sauce. The usher's comment: "I guess that guy *REALLY* hates hot sauce." We had a good laugh about it and promised her there would be no more condiment related conversations for the rest of the season.

I once saw an old man have a heart attack at Shea. It literally took 45+ minutes for EMS to take him away. He was completely purple in the face. I highly doubt he made it

Damon Minor hit my foot with a line drive at a CWS game. I was chilling with my foot up on a railing and talking to a buddy and all of a sudden instant pain. I didn't even get the damn ball!

I was running gate to gate outside of Busch Stadium on a stadium give away day, I often jog to get back in line. Well I was jogging and a sprinkler head came up from the ground, I'm not sure if it was already up or not either way it was fairly hidden. Well I caught it with my foot and it sprained my ankle. I got to ride the EMT cart and watch the first 3 innings filling out papers saying we wouldn't sue the stadium the city blah blah that I recieved medical attention by their staff, all from the first aid room which is very nice. Then I had to sit in the bleachers with my foot propped up and a bag of ice on it for how ever long we stayed that day. The next day I went for Xrays and both doctors I talked to said they were very surprised it was not fractured. It was like a nasty purple color for 3 weeks. Really just not good.

Idiots throwing beer. I remember being like 6 or 8 years old at a game and getting showered with beer when a bunch of morons from behind us started throwing their full beer cups down after a bad call. Completely ruined the game for me.

News Flash: Throwing a cup of beer that pours all over other fans is not an acceptable way to protest a call and certainly doesn't make you tough. It's a selfish and cowardly way to prove that you're a complete idiot. Take the high road and don't do that.

The crappy atmosphere at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. The businesses in Austin such as Dell and IBM would buy season tickets and give them out to employees. Most of those that come have no knowledge of baseball and rather sit and drink beer. I had foul ball stolen from me, I mean really rip out of my hands, and stolen. Other than decent place to get autographs not much worth looking into the stadium.

Worked as a (junior) staff member in a camp many years ago. Camp went to a Yankee game and got there late. In the rush and confusion a few kids got separated from the rest. Spent the time running around the camp trying to find them. Head of the camp was going crazy. Turned out a security guard had found them, with so many people in the hallways he did not realize they were with the group and had moved them to a place to keep an eye out for them. Everyone was fine, but I don't really care for going to the ballpark anymore.
