Back in 1998/99, I first got into the interwebs. I signed up for a Yahoo mail account. My favorite song at the time (and is still one of my favorites)was Hive by 311, which also was the name of 311's fan club. 17 is my birthday. I've used hive17 ever since; even if I didn't use it somewhere, I've tried to bring all my usernames under it for simplicy's sake.

So, yes, my online personality with forever be linked to 311.

Pretty simple. I am a Brewers fan and I was born in 1982, which also happens to be the last time the team did anything significant in the postseason.

So whatever happened with the girl?

When learning about William of Orange in history class in elementary school, a girl in my class called me Ryan the Orange as a joke (pretty lame joke IMO). I had a crush on her at the time, so I tried to keep the nickname, and I guess it's the first thing I thought of when I entered the collecting message board world in 2009. ::facepalm::

Now I just keep it for consistency, as it is my name on most other boards I am a part of.

Its my XBox gamertag which stemmed from Band names I used on Guitar Hero/Rock Band. They have you pick a name in the game and at first it was N8 and the Astroburners, then just the Astroburners, then I shortened it to just Astroburn. I liked it so much I decided to use it as my GT and then screen names on various sites. It also stems from my original email address i have had from way back in 94. I am an Astros/Jeff Bagwell Fan and have had it incorporated into that email from day one. Sorry, but I dont wish to disclose that address here, but it has Astro in it ;)

 Well, I "won her heart over." Then we realized we were in 6th grade and all that meant was we ate lunch at the same table and said hi to each other in the halls haha so that didn't last long.

I was the 52,411th person to only include the name James on his AOL account back in the days of dial up internet.

Mine actually has a hidden meaning....the world will end in the year 2169, the 0 signifies how many people will be alive that year, and Scotty [me] will end it by destroying Matt LaPorta. muahahaha

OR I am boring and it is just my nickname and birthdate. :::sigh::: gotta love being original lol

It seems to me that with the recent name changes, many people went far less cryptic with their names (myself included). I think that speaks very positively of the type of community that's been built here.

Sam Banks, as always, the trendsetter.

My friend has a massive salt water tank. One day he got a baby shark and asked me to name it. I dubbed him: chompsmcgee.

The shark died after a few weeks but I rock the name as an homage and because I can't think of something clever.
