Only 2500 of these:

The 1993 UD Gold Hologram is not that easy to find nor are the 1993 Topps Inaugural Marlins or Rockies stamped cards (Only 5,000 made of each stamp?).

That Next in Line is an insert so it's not considered a RC. My vote is the Stadium Club.

According to Beckett's database:

128,000 Stadium Club Murphy sets (wow!).
10,000 Topps Inaugural Rockies sets.
10,000 Topps Inaugural Marlins sets.

I have no idea how many cases of SP were made, but I'd imagine you could pull several Jeters from a case. More than 10,000 out there?

Out of Jeters mainstream RC cards, I have no doubt that the Stadium club dome is his rarest. 128,000 may seem like a lot, but I'd be willing to bet there is 2x or more that ammount in any topps or UD offering including SP. My vote, based upon saturation of the hobby, or lack there of, is the dome RC. Infact, I've always said in time it would capture the crown as his most sought after card. I still believe it will some day!

But Dome was 1992.The only notable rookie from that was the Manny. The 93 version is from Murphy Stadium.I would also agree though that this is the rarest.

The foil on the SP card will always make it the most sought after. Also the Murphy Dome card is anything but "mainstream", it's obscure.

I guess we will have to disagree on both opinions you present then. :)

Fair enough

Be sure to drop me a pm when the Murphy card price reaches the SP. Right now a PSA 10 SP books for $4750, the Murph books for $85...

You do understand that the SP is condition sensitive making a 10 extremely difficult, right? This ofcourse is whats reflected in your improper usage of the monitary 'stat' given in this situation. I would have thought you would know better than this...

::facepalm::

But yes, I'll let you know when it happens. :)

I'm a big fan of the Marlins and Rockies Innagural gold stamp versions.

There's also the Upper Deck GOLD version, only available every 1:20 factory sets.

It's a shame that 1993 Finest didn't have Jeter (I've seen the 2001 Finest Origins, oh what could have been...)

So nice.

The upper deck golds are super tough. Out of the 400 nolan ryan 92 and 93 UD cards I have, I have only found one with a gold holo.

No jeters, but if any one is looking for gold holos, check out this link

http://shop.ebay.com/kabdeals/m.html?_n ... rom=&_ipg=

The Bags are pretty tough too.I am still missing some(I think he had a few gold holos in the set).

But I am not sure if we are all still on track with the discussion.I thought we were not including the inaguraul cards or the gold holos.Otherwise those would be hands down the harder ones to obtain.

All I know is I have never seen the Murphy card in person ever.I have seen multiples of every other card but not the Murphy.I am not saying its rarer for a fact but you would think it would be more prevalent.

As far as SP...hell those are always the most sought after.Same thing is true for the A-Rod if we are doing base rookies.
