I feel bad for anyone who bought in on Beau Mills... I am trying to complete a set of 1 of each of the 3 that got arrested... I managed to track down Josh Tomlin and what I believe is the only certified auto he has... maybe he has more...

Anthony Hewitt is my big bust

That was incredibly predictable. despite being a high pick, he was looked at as a HUGE project and won't be anywhere close to ready until 2013...but there's a good chance he was never gonna be ready.

I dont really prospect but I do enjoy picking up cards of local players and since he was in the Braves organization (my favorite team) I spent more than I normally would. I knew he had off the field issues but he was having success so I figured he was worth the risk. The man I am talking about... Steven Evarts. Arm injuries and multiple arrests lead to his release from the organization. It's really sad when you have talent and continue to act like a moron off the field. Here is a few exerpts detailing his continuing problems.

Jan 6, 2010 "Former Robinson High left-handed ace and top-50 big league draft pick Steven Evarts has been arrested again, this time on a misdemeanor count of obstruction/resisting an officer without violence. He was effective in limited action during his three seasons (8-2, 2.30 ERA) in the organization's lower levels, but injuries and a 2006 arrest for damaging a car with a baseball bat preceded his release last summer. http://hometeam.tampabay.com/blog/2010/ ... ted-again/

April 19, 2010 "Former Robinson High pitching standout and big-league prospect Steven Evarts was arrested Sunday on charges of felony battery and marijuana possession at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. They subsequently discovered Evarts had an outstanding warrant on a third-degree felony battery charge. Upon searching him, they found a small baggie containing marijuana in his sock. Evarts was booked and released that evening on $2,500 bond. http://hometeam.tampabay.com/blog/2010/ ... ted-again/ ::facepalm::

Thomas Diamond was once a great pitching prospect for the Rangers.
Then he blew out his arm and underwent Tommy John surgery.
Now he's with the Cubs' AAA team (and doing very well) so hopefully he gets a call-up soon.
But his prices have sunk like a Brandon Webb sinkerball.
Luckily, I sold off most of my Diamonds for a small loss.
But I still have his '04 BDP Gold autograph that I paid $180 for in 2005. ::facepalm:: :benson:

I have his actual authentic Rangers jersey even though he never played a game for them. I picked it up the authentic store right by center field at The Ballpark

Mines was Rich Harden. I refer him as "Real Deal" and he looked to be that way but battled occasional injury.
