So true. Anyone that is really concerned with being known as a "super-collector" is a dork.
Agreed. Leave the super collector talk at SCF where it belongs.

Yes, this will further solidify this board's reputation as a prospector's board :|

It shouldn't really matter either way, but collectors always want to improve their collections so its not a bad thing.

It doesn't have anything to do with prospecting, but I appreciate your trolling once again. i I perceive "Super Collector" as a childish, meaningless title. Collectors are collectors, collections just vary in size.

You might be a Supercollector if...

you dig through the trash looking for a monogramed napkin after your favorite players wedding.

Come on, really?

Please check ANY of the Griffey, McGwire, Ripken, Twins collector threads or even the 90's insert or 00's insert threads and see the real posts that are CONSTANTLY being rehashed and have traffic day after day.

Show me ONE prospectors thread that can really say the same.

It just means prospecting isn't collecting. I appreciate your trolling against people who happily consider themselves super collectors, so there, we can all be childish... :?

How does thread size make a difference or how does that affect reputation when there are lots of new, short daily threads here?

actually when you think about it, $120 is not all that much for a TRUE 1/1 item

I'd imagine they had hundreds of guests, though probably not alot of them went up for auction.

It obviously means prospects aren't the only thing people care about when a thread is over 121 pages long and gets hit DAILY.

Sure, I'd agree with this and its all great, as are the prospecting threads. But this information and a buck gets me a lottery ticket.

I tried to find a previous thread that had the different levels of player collector craziness, but had no luck. Anyone else remember what it was called? GraceCollector digging through the trash for a wedding napkin definitely stuck in my head though.

I find this post somewhat StrasburgMania-esque.

2 times out of 1387 posts is not that bad. I apoligizie to all who viewed it Strasburg Mania esque. I truly do not want my good name put near his.

Member SydBarrett once said. Make it an incentive to get rid of it, if you complete 10+ trades or if you are proving to be an upstanding member PujolsCollector comes to mind as a great example of a young person that would not need their age shown.
:D It was awhile back though.

Im just giving you a hard time. Saying that your comment was like something he might say doesnt mean you conduct yourself in the same way.
