I'm currently a senior in high school, but am taking courses at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. There's a chance I'll be going there, although prob not.

Wanted throughout high school to get into Notre Dame, had the grades and SATs (1330! back when scores were formatted up to 1600), but didn't get in. Was crushed, but went to Indiana University, got a B.S. in Psychology and got saved there too, so I'm not complaining!

At one time or another:

Canisius College (Buffalo, NY)
SUNY Buffalo (UB)
University of Central Florida
University of South Florida
Valdosta State University
University of North Colorado

All of my degrees are from USF. The others were mostly short relocation stints.

MiguelCabrera,

Wasn't sure if you caught my question or were just ignoring it. How old are you? When someone said you weren't in school I suddenly got the impression of some 15 yr old that wasn't going to school. Hopeully I'm wrong and you're 18+ and have already graduated.

O god that's exactly me. I have the grades to get in and I'm sure the SAT score (pending my results) but I'm not sure I'll get in being how competitive it is now. If I don't I'll definently be crushed as it is my favorite school and #1 choice.

At the time it was the biggest disappointment I had ever felt in my life, but like I said, things worked out nicely. Had I gone to ND I may not be walking with the Lord, probably would not have done mission work overseas, would not have met my wife, or be a new daddy, etc, etc, etc. Things have a way of working out. That said, good luck with ND! It's an awesome school!
