The Brewers had a good run, which everyone in Wisconsin hoped would last longer. Many believed that if Milwaukee could make it to the World Series and win, maybe we could get Fielder to stay. Personally I think he's gone either way. Where does he end up now? Who are the most likely suitors? or by some miracle does he end up back with the Brewers.

I would guess the Cubs. The only shot the Brewers have is that the Red Sox and Yankees don't have room for him so his market price won't be overly inflated.

I think there is a possibility he ends up in Boston, but I am hoping as a Cubs fan he ends up here in Chicago. David Ortiz is a free agent, and they could sign Fielder with some of that money. Fielder could split time with Gonzalez at 1st and DH. To me, it makes sense, but who knows really.

Until I see him at a Press Conference with another teams jersey on it I won't believe he is going anywhere. I know I am very much in the minority, but I just can't see it.
The suitors most people are saying is Washington, SF, Cubs, Seattle.

I really haven't followed much discussion of where he'd likely end up, but the Cubs seemed like a likely location to me. They definately have the need and a new agressive GM. Don't they have a lot of money freeing up as well?

First and fore-most the Brewers try and keep him on the team, if they want to make a run at it again next season.

But if Albert bolts the cards for say Marlins in the Off-season then he goes to the Cardinals and Nyjer Morgan comes with in a package deal. ;)
Ok maybe not Morgan but Prince could go there.

If Albert stays put then he Prince will go to the Marlins.

If the Cubs can get the deal done with Theo and Boston and decide who they get as compensation then maybe just maybe he goes
to the Cubs but I think that is 3rd on the list of possibilities. But I'm leaning not at all.

Boston and the Yankees are a long shot since they don't really need to take on that kind of money and are already set at at Dh and first base.

Just my 2 cents

I'm not saying he's going to end up there, and he most likely won't, but it's been long-rumored that Baltimore will be going hard after Prince.

It's been stated they will fight for him and not just throw an offer out there like they did with Teixeira.

I don't see him going to the Red Sox or Yankees.

I do see him being a Chicago Cub.

Being a huge brewer fan it will be sad to see him go, but yes all he cares about is the money. He could stay here and have a better career and be loved by all fans even after retirement, probably ending up making more money if he stays, but I see him going to these teams. Nationals, Angels, Marlins Giants or Red Sox.

Obviously $$$ talks. But he has been with the Brew Crew since he was 18. I would think he would show some loyalty. They have done right by him and have tried to put together a winning team. Just because they didn't make the Series this year doesn't mean the season was a waste. They played solid all year and had a few untimely injuries. That's the nature of the game. I would like to see him back.

I'd bet 100 million dollars that Prince signs before Pujols, just to Pujols can see what he gets then figure out how much more he wants.
