16th box.....very last pack.......and then my GF jumped up from the couch screaming. My heart sank and I thought we hit the big one!

I'm definitely not complaining.....any suggestions on what to do with this card? Straight to Ebay or is it worth grading first? It's my best pull ever.

very nice. If you think it will grade well, get it graded.

It won't grade well. An xfractor line on the left side of the front and an edge issue on bottom left side of the back. Leave it ungraded.

I never heard of an "xfractor line" and I didn't notice it before. The edge issue on the back is a strange one. It showed up on the scan and I thought "what the hell is that?" When I took the card back out and looked at it, I couldn't see an issue. Weird. Thanks for the suggestions though!

No but its been proven Topps doesnt put every single 1/1 in packaging so think about it..

Unsure what proof there is of not putting 1/1's in packs but there are pics of sheets that show more than one 1/1 have being printed. For situations like the one you mentioned.

Geez, we've found Osama bin laden and Carmen Sandiego faster than we've found the Longo super. ::facepalm::

Isn't Longoria on the box? I don't think even someone who doesn't know much about cards would not understand that is a great card, especially seeing that it is autographed and shiny. I believe it is just in a pack somewhere waiting to be pulled. As long as there is just ONE sealed pack out there of this stuff, it could very well be in it.

The member in question might be me. I pulled a 2005 Trumbo Bowman Red 1/1 that was damged out of the pack. It was replaced with a garrett Mock 1/1 Auto that obviously wasn't packaged....I did mention this on these boards a while ago when there was some Trumbo hype, in the event someone was looking for it....So, there is a chance (albeit small) that may be the case here....

Meh, the hobby will survive fine with a single missing card.

Consider how many nice cards over time will be lost for a variety of reasons - tornadoes, fires, floods, etc. anyway.

Again, I don't get why this is so unbelievable. There are 100s, if not 1,000s of 1/1s sitting in un-opened wax, or long destroyed, or lost.

You mean this old thing? I usually just use it as a book mark for my Tom Clancy novels.
