Seeing how there's a poll on BO, figured there should be one here as well.

Until last night, I was almost certain he wasn't going anywhere, but the persistent chatter is making me change my mind. My two forerunners are TX and BOS.

Vote, people.

Dodgers or Giants. I think they both want three studs, I just don't know that the Giants can put a package together that is good enough

I would think Texas has the prospects to get it done...

Apparently reported on MLB trade rumors Philly has asked for best offers by end of day Wednesday....

As a Rangers fan, Hamels would be nice. However, Texas is 8 games back, so Hamels wouldn't close the gap, and giving up top prospects would 't be smart when the Rangers have a slim chance of contending this year.

They are looking beyond 2015....his contract would be team friendly compared to signing guys like Greinke, Cueto or Price who will command more $$$ AAV and probably 6+ years in length...

Hopefully not Boston, as I'd rather them go after Tyson Ross if anyone...

I'll vote Dodgers.

LA will over-pay while the Rangers and Cubs will not.

Imagine Kershaw, Grienke and Hamels (2008 NLCS and WS MVP and a SoCal guy) in a short series.

Heck, even the Cardinals with their history vs. Kershaw would be scared of that rotation...

I am going with the Rangers. I think it makes all the sense in the world for them to lock him up and have one of the best 1-2 punches in baseball with Darvish and Hamels starting next year.

Power bait on the hook. Let's see what you catch.

I definitely don't want him to end up with the Dodgers. That would be a brutal staff to face in October.

Hell, I don't want him going to the Cubs.

I think Texas would be the best possible destination for him, and my own personal selfish reasons.

Damn, Sam - that took all of 19 minutes. I wasn't expecting you to get hooked that quickly! ;)

I would love to see the Doyers get him, but don't want Friedman overspending to do so. I trust Friedman more than anyone else that has been in his chair for a long time, so if Hamels happens I'm fairly confident that Amaro won't take advantage of him. As long as Seager and Urias remain untouchable, I'm good for many scenarios - including seeing Yasiel get the hell out of LA. If he turns into the beast elsewhere that he's capable of being, then so be it. Right now he's too immature and too much of distraction.
