Second round pick for a proven dominant closer at the going rate for stud closer. I say they should have kept him especially being a homegrown guy
the yanks almost always paid there homegrown guys well enough to stay
They essentially got someone who is just as good IMO (Miller) for 4 million cheaper and they got the draft pick. Yanks are attempting to strengthen their farm IMO as it is better this year than it's been the past ten years.
If I were the Yankees I would talk to Romo. You have a big three at the end with Miller and Betances locking down the 6-8 and Romo taking the 9th. You legitimately only need 5 innings out of your starters. They could actually turn into contenders with that model IMO.
