It's crazy how quiet things are with Price considering how well he's been pitching.

If he continues to dominate, it wont be long now until the explosion. If he is still in form by the AS break, he is going to be fetching coin, mark my words!

Oh, and...

David Price= CY & MVP :o 8-)

NL Cy Young: Tim Lincecum

AL ROY: Neftali Feliz
NL ROY: Mike Leake
agree with ROY (impresssed by Leake's stats)

But how can u put lincecum over ubaldo? He does have a nice ERA (but ubaldo is more dominant) leads MLB in strikeouts and has a perfect record thus far (knocks on wood) but I think ubaldo has it over lincecum. (Not Halladay though :P)

I don't think people realize how good Justin Morneau has been this year.

I agree, I think he has to be in consideration for AL MVP. His numbers are plain ridiculous so far.

.383BA 11HR 34RBI .497OBP .701SLG 1.199OPS 35SO 35BB 154AB

Compare that to Cabrera

.331BA 10HR 40RBI .415OBP .598SLG 1.012OPS 25SO 23BB 169AB

IMO Morneau is clearly having the better season between those two.

As of now, I'd take Morneau. Then again, as of three weeks ago, I would have taken Cabrera. I think the two will be neck and neck as the top hitters in the AL all season.

I'm taking Mike Leake and Brennan Boesch for ROY, assuming they both are able to keep doing what they've been doing at least to some extent.

75K/20BB for Lincecum vs. 58K/23BB for Ubaldo in about the same amount of IP. Just a freakish start for Lincecum. If Timmy would have 2 more Wins, would it even be a race? (7-0) vs. (8-1)?

Jamie Garcia has clearly been better than Mike Leake as far as NL rookies go.

As a die hard Giants fan and second only to Darocker in love for Timmy on FCB I must say this. Anyone who doesn't think Ubaldo is the best pitcher is baseball right now is high. He is absolutely filthy so far this year. Can't wait for next Monday. Timmy vs Ubaldo.

Amen! I have good seats to see him pitch tomorrow.

Add to the fact that lincecum left the game 4 times with a lead and they all were blown saved....

Lincecum "should" (yes i know anything can happen and is part of the game) be 9-0...

How can you say honestly say that when Morneau has a higher average more home runs and only 3 RBIs less with a higher OBP and OPS. Are you saying that 3 more RBIs right now puts Vlad over him?

Vlad now has 1 more HR and 8 more RBIs.

Is it crazy to think Nelson Cruz will be a contender at the end of the season? Cruz has done everything that Vlad has done...in roughly 70 less AB's and in an inferior order in the lineup. This guy is going to be a big time contender at the end of the season.

idk about clearly better...he has 1 more hr and a better avg...while cabrera has 6 more rbi's (it will most likely come down to who wins there division)

You forgot to mention the huge difference in OBP and Slugging, Morneau is clearly, at this point having a better season that Cabrera. Also, as great of a season that Morneau is putting together so far, he is struggling with RISP, something like 1/7 with 3 RBI's with the bases loaded.

I dont think it will be either one of them, its 50 games into the season, there is a long way to go.

Leake is undefeated without throwing a pitch at the minor league level. That is the type of stuff that sways voters.
