I've spent many a night there. A friend of mine used to live upstairs.

Yes sir, it sure is.

Calm down. I said there wasn't anything wrong with it. I wasn't judging you. Whatever floats your boat guy. I get it; you like big muscles. It's cool...

I'll say there's something wrong with it. That way, you're off the hook! :D

You look pretty strong. How much you lifting on squat, bench, and hang clean?

Also, in the baseball picture, you somewhat resemble Chris Parmelee and you have a Twins colored uniform. How bout that ;)

Nothing "gay" about that question, so don't let people get to you. Personally, I hate it when people use that word to describe stuff.

For workouts, I tend to do alot of explosive movements associated with the sports I play. I used to be in the gym all day pressing, squating, and curling, etc until failure, with mixed results on the field.

Now, I lean towards Crossfit type of workouts, which give me everything I need. I haven't maxed out in a long, long time, probably since college.

Thanks NEC.

I'm a soph in high school, and I just got done maxing out.

Squat - 335
Bench - 205
Hang Clean - 205

I weigh 163, and my power ratio is somewhere around 4.5-4.6.

Thanks for explaining your workout!

Those are good numbers for your weight, although I don't know how tall you are.

I have spent alot of time reading about functional/active strength and I am a huge believer over standard static movements. If you want to perform, you have to train the movements you will actually use, rather than just making the muscles bigger.

I'm 5'9"-5'10". And I'm the starting varsity center and strong safety - I also run the 400M, 4x4, and 4x1 in track.

I like your thinking...it makes sense.

I think this is a case where someone was looking for something to be offended about though...heart on sleeve type of deal. You all kiss and make up... I'll watch.

Since I threw in a smart comment, I'll post as well. My name is Bill and I'm part of the 4th generation of family ownership of a small manufacturing company here in WI.

Nice dobbie. I have 2 males and a female. Didn't want to crop the ears or they didn't hold?

His ears are cropped. They held, one not as good as the other though....but he puts them down when he's playing. If he gets ticked off or curious, they stick up. The vet said I should keep taping them until they both stood up perfectly straight, I may tape them again this summer...
I thought it was a little strange that you could keep on taping them and it would eventually work, but that's what his vet said...and so did two others, I still don't believe it, but ....

I heard the same thing, but I gave up because they kept messing each others up. At $350/each I was a little pissed with the results. 1 dog turned out great, another has 1 up & 1 down, and the last dog has both ears down because they never took.

Yep, you're exactly right. I wanted to be offended, so I told him he looked strong and asked him how much he could lift. :x What in the frack makes you think that? :?:

Apparently a few smartasses like to twist the context of my words so they can have a good ole chuckle. Well, good for you guys. I'm happy for you that cracking gay jokes makes you guys feel like bigger people.

Bryan - what were you doing at the NSGA show? My company exhibited there for many years and I know it's not open to the general public.

Umm.... hello. You are surely touchy about this. The point is, the guy was kidding with you. I understood that you were asking the dude for advice...and I'm sure the person who made the comment understood that as well. I believe he was teasing you and he was shocked at your reaction...or overreaction I should say, just like this reaction. It's not like he said you were asking for makeup tips or advice on the perfect pair of ******* to get into a twist. ;) :D

You mean the pups would pull at their respective tapes? Lol, that sucks. I just learned to tape them myself so I wouldn't have to keep going to the vet.

Do you breed the ones you have or are they from the same line?

Can I ask you something?

Do you work out?

You look like it. What do you squat?

About two.

Super, super.

What about you? What do you squat?

(Whispers)
- Wow.

- It's no B.S.
- That's a lot.

- Where do you work out?
- In Torrance, where I live.

Cool.

Do you ever go to Vince's out here?

No, I would have seen you. I'm there every day.

I've always wanted to work out at Vince's.

Cool. Here. Taste that.

- Rock and roll.
- All right?

Did you ever see that movie Star Wars?

About four times.

People tell me I look like Han Solo.

Really?

What do you bench?

You tell first.

I asked you first.

Same time.

Cool.

Are you ready?

Ready.

One... two... three...

- You didn't say anything.
- Neither did you.

Well that and they would pull at each others. I just gave up after fixing it so many times.
I don't breed intentionally. She had a litter (we kept 1) and then we put an end to that crap.

My dad was purchasing pins from Peter David at the time. His sales rep. invited us out to the show. He started going in in 1993 and I finally realized that I should go along with him in 1995. I also went in 1996. Absolutely amazing! What is the name of your company and what kind of products do you offer? Maybe I'll remember you :)
