LoDuca and Sexson are two really good ones.

There are a lot of names mentioned in here that I have no problems moving.

For as dominant as he was and the markets he was in, it is surprising how few people collect Pedro.

Sexson is #100 on the list for career earnings at $68 million. He really cashed in on those few years for the Brewers where he was a beast.

Ha, ha. He was a fantasy monster for me. Loved that quick swing.

I remember pulling a 1999 BC Refractor and being extremely happy. I think I traded about $100 cv for it. Good times. It was one of my earliest big RC pulls. I should buy this for nostalgic reasons: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COREY-PATTERSON ... 3a675c352e

How about Aramis Ramirez, Adrian Beltre and Carlos Beltran?

i dont think any of those 3 have followings. 2 more names: kevin brown and greg vaughn. solid talent, but hard to build a fan base when youre essentially a mercenary for hire playing for 10 teams. i was surprised at how few votes kevin brown got in the hof voting.

Hey now! Vaughn's Valley will not be silenced!

Funny but for a lot of the names being mentioned, there used to be HUGE collectors of Cameron, Sexson, Beltran, Rolen, Edmonds, Sheets, etc. that were active here or back on the BMB. I mean these guys had some insane collections.
I still have 99.99% of my Rolen collection. I sold 4 cards when I was going through some things. I got one of those back. I don't actively collect (for now.) But I'm sure I'll pick it back up once the dust settles around here.

There are three members here off the top of my head (pghbuccos, The Resident BAY Fan, thefatguy) that would strongly disagree

Funny you guys mention all these names. I collect probably 75% of the players mentioned. Of course keeping up with set building and my Bagwell and Stackhouse collections hurt my budget for collecting other stuff. But I enjoy the hell out of going to shows and being able to pull cards of these players. I have nice stashes of Grieve, Glaus, Rolen, Pedro, Beltre, Sheets, Sexson, Bichette, Castilla, Burrell, Tejada, Helton, Drew(J.D and Stephen), etc.

Some of these names weren't mentioned but the kind of stuff that can be found for cheap leads me to believe that they aren't heavily collected if at all. There might be a few guys who have super collections of them but if only one or two people are avidly going after their stuff at one time, I'd say they aren't really collected. But they are all decent players which is why I am happy to pick some up here or there.

I could see Patterson collections for the first few years of his career. But the guy was a bustola. Never done much of anything that I can recall. Probably a lot of players like this where they are supposed to be the next big thing and never pan out really. Or at least live up to expectations. I'd bet a lot of "rookie and sophmore" collections exist out there for a large number of players. Players that get forgotten. I have a few of them myself just for the pure hell of it.
