I bought a collection with over 4500 autos broken down to USA, Tristar, Just, and Razor. In the last 2 months lets say I have looked at a lot of these cards. I was a big fan of Razor before, and continue to love their Signature Series set. Never got into the Letterman, but that's because Letterman cards from any Brand don't do it for me. With Just it seems that they have had a longer time to get it right, but from year to year the cards are drastically different. Sometimes simple with autos that pop and clear player shots to the next year and it looks like graphics took precedent and you can barely see player names. I sometimes find myself looking at the backs of these cards to determine who they are. I also have noticed several cards with bad sticker autos. I know its the players faults for not keeping them in the sticker lines, but some have tops of signatures and bottoms from the same signature where the player signed outside the lines.
I think both give collectors a great chance to collect an auto cheap. I mean when it's all said and done, why did a Byron Nelson UD auto cut up and put into a Razor holder and numbered low sell for double or triple what the card sold for uncut. If you want a Jason Heyward auto, Tristar lets you have a piece of him at such a lower cost, the casual fan/collector who doesn't care about investing or reselling and doesn't care what Jersey he is in, would be smarter to buy at that price then Bowman Chrome/Sterling.
I will give Just the edge, as I like Razors 1 product the most, it was only 2 true sets they produced and I usually give it to the company that has a track record. I do believe in 5-10 years, people will be wowed at what Razor did though, the checklist is ridiculous.
Brian make more cards please.
