I went to 04 Houston but I wasn't very much into cards, I was just a newby, so I didn't put much attention to the card show.

I know the card companies will be there, also McFarlane. But anyone else worthy? PSA or BGS for in-person submiting or big dealers that also go to the national?

Any one know?

someone else please chime in as well, last year in Anaheim sucked...no psa, no bgs, no sgc, no mcfarlane just about 20 tables of WAYYYYYY over priced cards and a ton of anagels photos to buy for $10-$15 each. I hope AZ is way better or im not planning on putting out the cash to go to KC next year

I hope it's better than Anaheim. I don't have the opportunity to attend shows so I hope this one is a good one. From what I can remember Houston wasn't that bad.

I know that most of the local dealers are not planning on being there. I set up at the monthly show here and some of the bigger dealers were talking about splitting a 10x10. As far as the out of town dealers go, I wouldn't expect many to show up because from what I've heard the cheapest slot at the fan fest is something like $3-5k to set up. If it is anything like the "card show" at the NFL experience when SB XLII was here it won't be anything special.

Unless of course you have a crush on Alan Nars from ToppsTV...

The cost to set up is outrageous. I really don't expect it to be a card show at all $3000 is a lot of money to set up

Thanks for the replies guys. Disappointing to hear, but at least I won't have my hopes up when I get there
