Because Hawk sucks? Especially when you compare him to how good Stone is.

Hawk is terrible. Truly terrible. He must have a list of 50 catch phrases and during the game he crosses out each one, just to make sure he gets them all in. I have many friends that are sox fans that are getting sick oh him as well. He is unlistenable now a days. I used to watch 30-40 white sox games a year, it is down to ZERO because of how unbearable Hawk is.

If I watch a Six game I try very hard to mute Harrelson in my head. Luckily Steve Stone does a majority of the talking between pitches.
