I found a Jeter Purple #/100 at a show, but the print run numbers come through to the front a bit and I passed on it. I didn't think I would be able to move it with that defect.

Is that something that is common or is that card ruined. I don't know that much about them either

How much was he asking?

I'm not trying to say the Gold Labels are better. I was showing that as a price comparison. Both are attractive inserts that are numbered to 100.

While your opinions are valid. They are coming from a user named crusade man and 2 guys with Crusade inserts in their sig. It is pretty clear that you guys LOVE these inserts.

My point is, while they are pretty, the prices are based on hype and the factors discussed.

It's in my sig because I spend 8 years looking for these and I want to show them off, probably the same reason you have that super in your sig (minus the 8 years looking part).

Whats the longest you spent looking for a card? I would assume if it's anything over a couple years you'd be ecstatic and wanting to show it off. It just happened that so many collectors were able to fill a gap at once hence while the crusades are so prominent on the boards in recent days/week.

I think the greens are my favorite. The only player I collect in the set would be the Griffey.

I wasn't making fun of your sig. I was just saying that your opinions are already clear.

The only card that isn't a 1/1 that would make me estatic to own is an 02 SP "01 Chirography style" McGwire auto and a 1955 Ken Boyer on card autograph.

A McGwire just ended Wednesday and I wouldn't over pay for the jersey # premium and there is a Boyer online, but I don't like the auto.

The way it looks, be happy you got your Andrews when you did.

the only hype I see is recent just because of the mass-sale that will never be seen in many, many years. I cant see how hype has carried crusades in general, as the brand is dead and the followups sucked, so its basically people enjoying one set... were I see the true hype these days are the ads for a certain product coming out and who will get the chase card etc.

the ebay green sale didnt go as good as it should of imo, as the prices were nice and low :D :D :D

You can bet your ass that when the red Crusade arrives, it will be in my sig as well. I spent forever searching for it, and I will showcase it like the purple. It might be #/25, but it feels like a 1/1 because of how rare they show up, if ever.

How many of us will be sporting our crusade rainbows? After years of tracking them down, I feel like christmas is coming early!!

Only BGS 10 Green Crusade in existence... For any player! :D :D

I'm hoping my next sub will change that, comparing the green/purple I just got in to the graded ones I have look like they are solid 9.5's and if I get a lenient grader then possible 10....I can dream anyways
