After watching a bit of today's game and seeing Hochaver give up another 5 runs I decided to find out how many starting pitchers have 100+ games starter and a career ERA above 5.00. It may be difficult to see the bold text, but there are 11 players on this list that have played for the Kansas City Royals. 5 Players on the list played before the KC Royals were even played their first season in 1969. So out of the 29 players that had the opportunity 38% of all the players that have a life time ERA of 5+ and 100starts have suited up for the Royals.
An interesting tidbit. Between 1965-1988 a grand total of 0 players had an ERA over 5 and 100 starts.
