The guys been a complete terror since the All Star Break, which has coincided with the Rockies hot streak. Since the break he's hitting 376 in 31 games along with 6 doubles, 2 triples, and 7 home runs. He's still young (won't turn 24 till seasons end). So why no hobby love for him?

Countdown until someone blames his not being a "prospect" anymore to explain his low prices...

Players who get hot midseason rarely get the attention they deserve. Hitters in Colorado rarely get much attention.

There's also been little attention to much of anyone this season. The last few seasons seem to have brought a bit of a "changing of the guard" with a huge flux of young talent taking over for the aging superstars. Combine that with the down market and almost no one is really getting much attention.

He just started to heat up. I also agree with ballerskrip on how it being his 3rd team already hurts him a little bit. One player's prices that I do not understand at this point are Ryan Zimmerman's. He has been doing incredibly well, and his chrome autos are now 35-40. I know the Nats are bad, but he doesn't have many rookie cards.

His Chrome's shot up when he had that nice hit streak going. His prices will have a very hard time getting much higher unless the Nat's get better or he puts up some beastly numbers.

It's crazy how much of a difference a market makes. The Mets suck and Wright doesn't even have 10 HRs, but you still have to pay about 4 times the amount of a Zimmerman to get a Wright Chrome auto.

Because he cut himself with a steak knife and missed a couple of games... typical baseball injury... In fact left game early again today because of the injury and let Eric Young Jr get more Ab's

Maybe his name is too 'common' - more than a few guys named Gonzalez have been around recently/are around to dilute things for Carlos.

That's actually what happened to me.
It took me a few moments to register who Carlos Gonzalez was, then I realized it was the former stud prospect.
