Gonzalez has not shown anything to warrant 'hobby love.'

However, it is promising that he has figured some things out and hopefully will continue to establish himself in the Major Leagues.

He had a nice season with the Rockies, but can he do it for a full year?

The guys been a complete terror since the All Star Break, which has coincided with the Rockies hot streak. Since the break he's hitting 376 in 31 games along with 6 doubles, 2 triples, and 7 home runs. He's still young (won't turn 24 till seasons end). So why no hobby love for him?

Right now, CBS lists 9 guys with the same last name active:
Gonzalez, Adrian 1B, San Diego Padres
Gonzalez, Alberto SS, Washington Nationals
Gonzalez, Alex SS, Boston Red Sox
Gonzalez, Carlos LF, Colorado Rockies
Gonzalez, Edgar G. SP, Oakland Athletics
Gonzalez, Edgar V. (DL) 3B, San Diego Padres
Gonzalez, Gio SP, Oakland Athletics
Gonzalez, Miguel (DL) SP, Boston Red Sox
Gonzalez, Mike RP, Atlanta Braves

Maybe his name is too 'common' - more than a few guys named Gonzalez have been around recently/are around to dilute things for Carlos.
That's actually what happened to me.
It took me a few moments to register who Carlos Gonzalez was, then I realized it was the former stud prospect.

Sure he has.

If his post break was pre break his cards would have been on fire.

It's more about people not really following the game as close as losers like us.

Because he cut himself with a steak knife and missed a couple of games... typical baseball injury... In fact left game early again today because of the injury and let Eric Young Jr get more Ab's
No, he did not leave the game today because of that injury. This wasn't even related. . .
