If you're worried about what a card will sell for, then it is less of a hobby to you, and more of a business.

I buy and sell....but this is 100% a hobby...if I was in it for the money, I wouldn't care this much; I'd just sell what sold.

The rules have pretty much been confusing for a lot of collectors and honestly...there is no need for them at all.But we all know the MLBPA isn't the best at making choices. They have shown that for years now.

I think the only one it hurts is sellers.Someone goes into a shop or goes looking on ebay and they see all these cards and aren't sure which one to buy.More of your novice collectors would go after the RC logo versions simply due to them actually saying rookie card and also because the actual FY cards will me more expensive.A lot of the people who would normally invest in FY cards will now pay less because they feel the market is watered down since the dude now has a card and auto in every subsequent set released.

But on the bright side...people actually buy the RC logo cards so hey...at least they go for something.I just think the MLBPA needs to rethink what they are doing.FY bowman cards can't be inserts. They are like two to a freaking pack.Inserts?Come on.

Another thing that is getting way old is if someone is upset about something...telling them to leave or walk away is just dumb.People are going to get upset or not like things every day.If your only advice is to walk away...the entire world would spend about 90% of their day walking away from things they didn't like. Its okay to feel a certain way about things and wish they were better and to comment on them.I cannot understand how every time someone has a dislike for anything or anyone you guys feel the need to come in and say all you need to do is walk away and quit whining or crying or complaining.Have you ever thought that maybe people just want something to be better and they are trying to convey that to you in a discussion format?Yeah...I know.Rocket science right?

The 2006- rules are terrible for collectors... but as a seller I have learned to like them. It is definitely confusing, but I guess everyone should just collect what they find is the best suited for them. I prefer true RCs, but I will sell the hell out of pre-RC ML stuff.
