Welcome to the boards clarkfan! I was the guy who contacted you through eBay about the Crusade protos. I wrote a blog on this board, and borrowed one of the scans you sent me for the prototype gallery. I also showed your six card shot in the "Rare 90's insert" thread and it got some nice appreciation, as it deserves.

Thanks Gracecollector! I finally registered on this site, seems like pretty interesting reading on here. Glad I could help with the pics. Would like to read your blog? Is it on this same site??

This was a tough card for me to track down, I think I got it in a trade.

Yes, that's the one I mentioned in another post about the collectiblity of 90's inserts. That is really rare. I still don't have it. I love the classic look to that jersey card. I've seen them on ebay a couple of times, but always sold for more than I was willing to bid. Nice pic!

I added these pics to the promo/sample thread, but here they are again for the Will Clark post.

I just picked these up, and I think it's one of the nicer jersey designs I've seen. (I know Josh agrees with that assessment!)

As a side note, I've started to pick up doubles for some of the patch cards I have. I'm pretty much a "one of every card" guy and don't really look for something after I have one. I guess I sort of view each patch card to be unique in its own way. Maybe that's not true if it's a single color patch, but for those that have multiple colors, I think it's nice to see the difference.

What do you guys think?

I haven't seen that one. What's the year and print run?

Not sure of the print run on them Drew but the card is from 2005 Upper Deck.

As far as patch cards I'll collect any variation of the patch looks cool to me, those 2003 Leaf shirt and numbers off my back are fantastic designs and the picture of the jersey on the back is a nice touch.

Are far as card design and game used cards I'm in love with these. I had a chance to buy a Clark game used, name stitched on the side, 1B glove around 1998-99 on E-Bay, but at the last minute the bidding went out of my range. Glove ended around $700 and I had $650 to spend. To me a players glove is the best piece to own, it's an item they use, love and depend on for years.

50th round pick - I'm pretty sure the card wasn't issued and possibly was an unautographed version of the /88 autograph. I looked for that one for years myself and came to the conclusion it doesn't exist.

As a side note... they've re-issued that card in autograph form at least 3 times... /88, /24, /20.

Hey guys. I saw this post on one of the earlier pages and thought I would put the answer up. It indeed exists, unfortunately. I have only seen a small handful of them (4 or 5) and they always sell for $75 plus. If I remember right, the last one sold for $150 or more a couple of years ago. I actually had an extra once, b/c I found a buy it now listed way to cheap, but here is the pic of my only one remaining, #1908/1988. The funny thing, the numbers were all over the place which made it look like it wasn't rare at all. I've seen early numbers and late numbers. I have no good idea on why it is so difficult to run across, but it definitely exists.

You just show those off whenever you can, dontcha?

(I would, too!)

And to think I've lost out on that many in the past as well, I might have ten of them by now if I hadn't.

I started a separate thread for this, but I should post here, too.

Do you guys know anything about these? The seller lists them as Venezuelan stickers, and they don't seem to appear in any of the major catalogs or checklists.

Here's the thread discussing them - it's worth reading: http://freedomcardboard.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=61341&p=801678#p801678

Yeah, I'm sure those are pretty tough finds. I don't have any of them, but I bet I'm missing them from most years in the late 90's and up if he has them. They don't pop up on ebay very often.

I really liked the mid to late 90's Pinnacle sets and their creative inserts. These are from 1998, and are the base, Museum Collection and Artist Proof:
