Does anyone know anything about this card? Just picked it up and I've never seen one. I guess it was a certificate given away during a signing session in the 90's. Anyone else have any of these or something similar?

According to the E-Bay listing it was given to the seller when he bought an IP at a show. Nice odd-ball.

Yeah, that was the auction I won, but he didn't have much info on it. I just wonder how rare it is. If not, I have a pretty nice sweet spot signature ball anyway, so well worth the minimum bid. Just surprised noone bid on it.

I actually thought that *I* won the auction, but it seems my snipe didn't go off. Oh well...glad it went to a good home! I'm pretty sure it's a rare card, as I can't imagine all that many were made and actually survived. The ball seems to be really quite nice, as well. Nice addition!

Here's a favorite oddball from my collection. I'm assuming this was a stadium giveaway, but I don't really know much about it...

This was a tough card for me to track down, I think I got it in a trade.

After searching this one out forever, I finally found one. I had to get it in a lot with 30 plus other jersey & bat cards, but at least I found one. Thanks for providing a pic of it. It made me search a little harder and it paid off :)

What year and issue is that one? I've seen it on here, but haven't noticed it on eBay, so it must be tough!

And, Ron...did you get the glove card that ended a few days ago? I know you really like that one. (sorry if I bid it up for you!)

I had a bid in but another Clark collector who likes to outbid me on everything won it.

I bid too . . . no luck. I didn't need it though, just would have taken it if went too cheap. More and more I'm convinced that the hardcore Clark collectors are as loyal as any other as far as the prices they are willing to pay for the ones on their list.

Wow. Did you guys see this card just went for $50!

Umm, yeah . . . I'll call that crazy!! I guess it only takes 2 fans to really want it. I'm pretty sure I picked mine up for less than $10 and even have an extra I would sell in a minute for $40. Makes me not want to see a Clark I need get listed with all these high dollar recent sales. clark22fan is making a mint :)

What do you guys think of the last 4 or 5 Clark cards, clark22fan, has sold? Crazy Prices!!!

I wanted this 1997 Score, but not for $66

http://cgi.ebay.com/97-Score-Reserv...ZViewItemQQptZUS_Baseball?hash=item2ea849317a

The Diamond Club sold for $60 (pretty sure mine cost $10 or less)

http://cgi.ebay.com/98-Pinnacle-Ins...ZViewItemQQptZUS_Baseball?hash=item2ea853a7b8

and a Pacific of 199 sold for $57 (ouch)

http://cgi.ebay.com/99-Pacific-Para...ZViewItemQQptZUS_Baseball?hash=item2ea853b3f0

He is definitely banking on his Clark collection. Most of them are probably selling for a lot more than he originally paid for them! Great move on his part to spread them out like he does.

Back from Australia.

It's definitely crossed my mind to sell all or part of my Clark collection and pay off some debts.

Another crazy price for a Clark promo, $328, insane.

[ebay:z0was8gq]200417421144[/ebay:z0was8gq]

I know . . I'm dumb . . that was me who ended up winning it. I'd never seen it before. I sold a few of my random Clarks for $125 to $150 so I justified the price . . . well it still isn't justified, but made the price not quite so severe. I knew I would have to outbid the 2 or 3 bidders that don't seem to like to lose in order to get it. In 20+ years of Clark collecting, I'd never seen it or heard of it, so it has to be next to impossible to find. Oh well, at least I have it. I'll move on and hope I don't start seeing them pop up all over the place due to high dollar price of that sale.

Congrats, you know what you wanted and went for it. Still an insane price, just a couple hundred less than the bat barrell card went for.

Like everyone else, I'm regularly shocked by the prices clark22fan is getting for these cards. Did you guys see that one of these went for $245?

75.jpg

He had it listed as a 1993, but I list it as 1991. Does anyone know the story?

Also, it's amazing to me that clark22fan has been slowly trickling out these cards for a year or so. I won my Donruss Aqueous card from him in February or March of last year, and his auctions are still going strong. Amazing...

He definitely did it the right way when it comes to listing his collection. A few cards at a time. A few good cards, a few bad cards at a time too. He's MADE money on his Clark collection. If I ever had to sell my stuff, I would definitely do it the way he did it. I've wanted a few here and there from him, paid too much for some, let most go to the other big spenders on ebay.
