Welcome aboard!!! I recognize your username from ebay. We have quite a few big Clark fans on the forum. I've learned quite a bit about variations, promos and seen scans of stuff I would have never thought I'd see. Glad you made it over.

Just realized I do have a Will Clark card in my collection:

Haven't seen that in a while. He *crushed* that pitch. What a series. I still remember watching him line the series winner up the middle off Mitch Williams.

It blew by my bid early in the evening before closing at $761.00. Nice auction for the seller, and a great card for the buyer.
I have two of the plates for this card (actually, I think Ron tried to get one or both from me right after I won one :)). Would've been nice to own the actual card they printed, but it's also nice to be able to make my mortgage payment. :D

I went ahead and listed the extra 1989 Topps Heads Up Clark today guys. I'd just as soon trade it if I could get something nice I need though. Overall, in pretty good shape. Only some slight bending around the suction cup hole.

A error/variation I found on COMC for next to nothing. Cheesy, but I needed it.

It's missing all the gold (his name, the '94 Flair on the top left corner, and the gold around the HOT NUMBERS in bottom left), as well as no gold on the back (name, etc. on the back of the card)

The scan is pretty crappy. Just found it 1 day searching COMC and thought it was a variation worth having, since it only cost me $1.00 or so

Yeah, those are nice. I've read that it's possible to rub off the gold or foil on some cards, though. I have a couple in my collection, but don't really chase them. I like the strange printing variations from the 80s and early 90s better, for some reason...

Just got this one in, 1991 SF Examiner Gold Promo. I've been outbid on it several times in the past but with a recent rush of them, I was able to pick it up at a decent price.

Goes nicely with the 8X11:

With all of the Star cards clark22fan has listed recently, its got me motivated to make sure I have everything cataloged and on a have/need list. Does anyone know where to find a master list? Even Beckett doesn't list a lot of the promos or glossy sets. I know I've gotten outbid on a couple of the promos/glossy promos I need. Ideas? Or does anyone have extras of some of the tougher ones?

Ugh. I've checked around and there just isn't one. It needs to be done by hand. Pretty sure I have/had most of them. Selling all my extras.
