Anyone else bored with the Will Clark cards listed on ebay lately?? Just not a whole lot of high end or rare stuff being sold right now. I'm looking to scratch something off of my need list, just haven't been able to.

Although I'm not a Will Clark collector, just thought I'd share that I just got a TTM back of his '86 Topps Traded RC. Easily one of my favorite signed rc's in my collection. I loved this guy as a kid and love that he's a good signer.

Why would anyone spend the money to have PSA/JSA authenticate a certified autograph of a player?

Recently came across this variation, don't know if it was already known.

(sorry cell phone pic)

1997 Sports Illustrated Special Edition /500

I noticed two versions, one with the EE logo on the left and one on the right. These are serial #'s 214 and 238. Very close in number, I wonder why they moved the die?

I haven't noticed this variation in the other Clark card in the set.

Great another card I need to find. On a serious note though, is there any knowledge of these being faked? Could explain the wrong side stamping.

The card I own has the stamping on the left and is number 58:

Something is definitely up with those Extra Edition. I also noticed the variation, picked it up just in case, but I have seen 2 different ones with the same serial number, a bunch of consecutive serial numbers, and hoards thrown onto the market in the last 2 years. If they aren't faked, they are definitely leaked from Fleer's backstock inventory. I wanted to have the inverted stamp just to add an inexpensive variation to the binder, but can't be sure they are fully legit either.

I'd usually bet against them being legitimate especially since we haven't really seen any until recently. That and the card was really tough on Ebay and there have been a few dozen listed in the last 2 years.

I love the Minyard Magnet Ron! I looked for one for a long time before I finally found one, I now have just 2. For a free stadium giveaway, you just don't see them on the market very often.

Clark was on Comcast after the Giants won and said he was happy to be getting a ring as a Giant.
Awesome. If this is what it took for him to get a ring, then so be it. :D
