Gretzky, Lemieux, Hull, Federov, Bure, Shanahan, Messier, Jagr, Belfour, Hasek, Roenick, Chelios, Yzerman, Roy...
I can name all these players off the top of my head back when hockey was so great!!. Will there ever be a time like this again?
I feel that the age of the superstar player is gone. Crosby and Ovechkin is close, but they are not driving the sport like they should be...
Just my two cents...
**Edit to Add*** I did watch the playoffs this year, and loved the games, especially the finals. It was great hockey, just lacking in superstars.
