prolly if they put the SICK patches in the 1/1's, no one would want the patch cards, this way they get the best of both worlds

no one what they should do is put the best patch in the 1/1 and work there way down from there. Ive seen nicer patches in the cards /250 on the dual relic cards than on the ones /5.

the answer is obvious they just dont care.

It's the 1/1 foil of the jumbo jersey card set. It's not a patch set, therefore it doesn't have patches.

Exactly, it's a jumbo jersey set, not a patch set. That's like getting really angry when you get a 1/1 base and an auto /150 and complain that they could have thrown an auto on the 1/1. Just a different type of card that's all. I thought that you'd post a sick patch card /10 and a plain one or two color patch 1/1

My point is there are so many nice patches all over this product why couldn't these 1/1 cards have them also.

Because it's the jumbo jersey set. They have a different set for jumbo patches.

I want to jump in here because I beg to differ.... I would use 2011 Topps Triple Threads as an example... They had single relic cards (Belle had 2 versions #105 and #108)... the /99, /75, /20 and /5 are all just simple memo cards but the Platinum 1/1s included a patch. So getting back to this threads, I also don't see why they didn't make the 1/1s with a sick patch... would had been a solid move IMO

Its not a bad thing they don't have patches in that someone will pay more attention to the card, the art, layout, design instead of just the patch. So many times people only know (or buy) the patch but not the card.

i bought the 1/1 of my player for 40 bucks. im working on the 'rainbow' as it were. I like the jumbo relics, and i am thinking about trying to get them signed IP, if he ever does a signing.

id rather have one /5 or even /10 with a nice patch than a 1/1 with a plain patch

There are going to be people who will want all three of the cards you were talking about. Only one of them can get the "plain patch." For many players, the plain 1/1 will sell for more than the nice patches #/5. The guy who pays more for the 1/1 isn't stupid, he already has the patch #/5.

Hope this helps.
