What was really lame was all the pitching changes. There was a guy with a pitch count of 2. That's not a lot of baseball in between commercials. I was watching with my mom, she fell asleep on the couch... woke up and said "what inning is it?" I said "the 7th." She said "STILL???" My wife goes "oh, you're watching baseball? I was trying to figure it out, for the life of me I could not figure out what made you sit there and watch all those commercials. I thought you were watching the Commercial Network or something."
So what, it's October baseball, happens every year.Hell in '04, Francona made a crapload of pitching changes in the ALCS when all those games lasted 4+ hours, and no one complained about it then.Big deal, it happens in the AL too.The game ended in a tidy 3 hours, at least it wasn't another one of those 4 hour Red Sox/Yankees marathons.I stay up late anyway, so I don't mind it.
