Worse Topps auto idea? Scout Autos or Rip Girl Autos?

Great. Now I feel even more screwed than I did 8 months ago. That means I didn't get what I was supposed to out of either of my Jumbos last year. :evil:

I think both suck, but I think the scout autos idea was the worst. I mean, sticker autos on the cards, and redemptions for some of them even?

Those were absolutely laughable. Here are the ones I pulled last year.
The biggest difference to me is that the Rip Girl auto DID NOT replace one of my guaranteed autos
while the BS Bowman Scout auto did. And it was damaged to boot :lol:

the bowman scout cards were throwins.. it did not replace your gauranteed auto. you were just shorted.

you could have sent in the wrappers,upc, and receipt to get your auto. doubt you have any of that now though.

Yes she was. But they are better to look at then most of the scouts.

Both ideas suck.

The only real thought I have other than that is that at least the Bowman Scout autos have something to do with baseball. No one really wants them, but at least they are of people who are part of the game. What do the rip girls have to do with the game? That's right, nothing.

But once again, they're both terrible.

Eh, I wouldnt buy either of them. However, the scouts can remotely be tied to baseball in some way. Noone but their family cares about alot of the Bowman Chrome cards.

Not a good comparison and not what the poll of this thread was.

It asked between 2 sets that have equal value (none). Obviously I would take value over substance, but neither of the sets mentioned have any value.

Very poor comparision. At least they are sports figures. It would be more like how would you like to get an auto of the guy who runs the printing press for Topps? Or how would you like to get an auto of some random Joe from the block?

I'm shocked the scout autos are winning...

At least with scout autographs a player collector could put an autograph of the scout that signed the favorite player in the PC.

A cheerleader for a baseball team would be better than a rip girl autograph.
