I thought this could end up being an interesting thread. For me I'm going with Jose Bautista of the Jays, there is no way he should be anything more than a bench player

I forget what game I was watching the other day, but the SS had 3 errors by the top of the 6th inning. I believe he had one in the game prior to that. I might have to look into that one.

Julio Lugo or Bengie Molina for me.

There are alot worst players than Bengie Molina. Lugo doesnt start anymore but when he did, he was useless too

If you are considering the overall player, Molina definitely tops the list. He is terrible defensively, probably the single worst base runner in all of MLB, and usually puts up a sub-.300 OBP..Absolutely horrendous.

Well, terrible may be overstating it, but he is definitely not the same defender he was 5 years ago.

Adam Dunn and David Ortiz deserve mentions as well..Dunn would be a MUCH better player in the AL.

That's very laughable how Bengie molina is the worst everyday starting player.

Not only does he call a good game, he has a well above average bat for a catcher.

Last few years he has put up 20 Hr and 80 rbi

Ya I dont understand why he was even brought up...David Ortiz doesnt seem to look good either. Can;t defend and as of right now cant hit for a lick

You should try watching a Giants game before claiming that Molina is one of the worst everday players. Here's the very short list of Catchers that had better offensive numbers last year.

Joe Mauer
Víctor Martínez
Brian McCann
Matt Wieters
Russell Martin
Mike Napoli
Kurt Suzuki
