I agree that Adam Dunn is the worst player in the league... I also agree that Jay Bruce is a carbon copy of Adam Dunn.

I never said Adam Dunn was the worst player in the league. I said he belongs in the conversation. To me, Yuniesky Betancourt is the single worst every day player in the league. You are right about Bruce, to this point, however. Although looking at his BABIP and other measures shows that he should progress into a better hitter, he looks more like Austin Kearns than Adam Dunn at this point.

I don't really believe the things I said, besides maybe that Jay Bruce is very similar to Dunn in many facets of the game.

Betancourt hands down.

he has all the intangibles- cant hit, cant field, and doesnt give a F### anymore. the last one is the key- he was from poverty, worked hard and came to the US, made a few mill and gave up on trying to improve.
the first thing that went was his bat, then his range.

and sometime soon Dunn is going to be a DH blasting 40 home runs for (hopefully) a winning team. until then he has to find a way to play d, but the guy is a beast at the dish.

So Adam Dunn may be the worst fielder in the league. He might be he might not be...if he is one of the top HR hitters int he league and leads in walks and still manages to hit .265-.270, does that make him the worst?

I feel he is an overall better player than some of those DH's who are afraid to touch leather ala Jim Thome and David Ortiz

Brandon Wood ::facepalm::

5 Games. 1-19 .053/.053/.053 7 Ks

Career .180/.212/.296 in 240 ABs with 80 Ks

I really hope he can turn it around, but so far he has just been awful.
