You came to that conclusion after how many AB's? I suppose he sucks soo bad that Seattle thought he sucked enough to trade an even suckier pitcher to an already sucky pitching staff in Texas and become their sucky ace of the staff. The book is not closed on Smoak just yet I think he will be a descent player before all is said and done. But for you to say he sucks is kinda like teaming up with some 12 year old yankee fan and being pretty immature. I mean really, your team took him with their #1 pick just a couple years ago, maybe those being paid lots of money evaluate talent better that us fans. Just give him some time, then we can decide.
