I think it only happens when a bin is hit or a bo is accepted.

sometimes yes, sometimes no. I'd like to know A) why does it happen sometimes, and B) what makes BIN/BO special that they then reveal the buyers ID?

You're right; looks like all BO buyers are revealed. But my question is still: what's the point of revealing the IDs under these lone circumstances?

If you're hurtin for cash in order to make a dash, taking a 3k offer would allow you to get quite a stash. I'm not trying to be brash but the seller probably had no other offers of that magnitude so the accept button he did mash.
