This happens every year, so it's not too terribly surprising.

Seller's obviously trying to fool people by using a very small scan of the box and not mentioning "Retail" in title...

Regardless, buyers need to read...their fault if they don't.

I just don't see the point of doing this. The seller obviously knows what he is doing by having a tiny scan and not mentioning that it is a retail box anywhere in the listing. Either way there is going to be an unhappy buyer...and as a seller you may or may not get away with it.

Purposeful deceit is about as douchy as it gets for an eBay listing and it seems like it will end with nothing but problems.

He actually does say it's "Retail" once in the auction, about right in the middle of the listing. But yes, it's deceitful and happens every year.

Well, everything needed for an accurate description of what your buying is in fact within the description. Having said that, I too think it's low class to do what he is doing. And further more, there is zero chance that this is not on purpose. To not label this as a blaster box, with 8 retail packs first and formost (and not just hidden in a bunch of text) is pure swindeling. He should e-mail the buyer once the auction is over, and be sure they know they are buying an 8 pack retail blaster box before billing/shiping.

I no longer have pity for people that are to ******* stupid to read. The world is full of scams and full of people looking for a "steal" so when this happens they both come out of the woodwork for a meeting of the minds. The scammer usually wins.

Ah I didn't see it. But that only further emphasizes the point that it's easy to miss.

People aren't reading the description anymore and it's not seller's fault. I saw CLEARLY that there is 80 cards in the box because everything following it is in bolt.

On the other hand, yes i would have added blaster in the title but again it's me. As a buyer i would have me and only me to blame if in any matter i didn't took a further look at the description. Dropping a negative would be a non-admission. Human nature tend to blame others most of the time.

I am located in Canada, maybe that's why i read everything to make sure i don't overpay for shipping or for any other details.

Also, you can't imagine how many buyers pm'ed me every week because the item haven't shown after 7 days or so. I get them back to the description of the item where it is clearly indicated that i am located in Canada and that it could take as long as 3 weeks to get thru. Even some members from FCB have buyed from me and not checked where the item came from ::facepalm::

Then why put "Strasburg auto?" in the title when they are not in blasters if he's not trying to deceive people?

I think it's more misleading to have Strasburg auto in the title than to only mention that it's a blaster in the description.
