Upper Deck does it as well. Fact is, you are in the small, small minority on this one. They make it look 100% real and I want the pro jersey 100% over any other...

To be fair the School Colors is Donruss.

I know. That was going back to the photoshopping jersey comment I made on the top of the page. I jsut decided to go with the Bumgarner cards. My original point was photoshopping

I like the bold blue color and it scans well.

Everything else about it has been beaten to death...so I'll leave it at that.

Now, if they threw a nice silver auto on something like this, I could get behind it...

I gaurantee that if that card had a bowman chrome logo on it, 98% of the people would love the card and there would be countless posts of look at my metallic blue refractor..........

TK

think they would look better if they had gone with a solid color and dropped the black stripe on them.

Absolutely disagree. I love the pinstripe.

Bball- How are the edges on those? Is it the scan or card? I noticed on gilmore's left edge too.

The front edges look perfect, but I've noticed that the back edges are a bit rough.

I hate silver autos on cards. Silver is too streaky most of the time.

As appealing as they look. I still classify them as minor league cards. Very nice looking ones But none the less.
Im also thinking that the more and more college ,high school and minor league cards that come out, the less popular those will become. But who knows maybe having that first piece of card board with that particular auto of that particular person is will with the investment. Or will the masses eventually start saying I want a rookie to be in his rookie major league uniform with his rookie major league auto?

I also don't care for the use of the circle head picture (unless on a dual/triple auto (and or patch card) to make the card less crammed together.

There are a thousand different meanings to what a rookie is or is not. The masses have been split into so many groups now that nearly everyone's view of a rookie card is now viable.

Do you see bowman chrome cards as minor league cards? who knows what will come in the future. There is no reason that everyone has to agree.

I think that pictures of the players should take up the entire card, not little head shots, and the players should sign over their pictures. I don't think that Razor card is appealing at all. It just looks like a big, blue rectangle with an autograph.

I'm on the fence on this card. On the one hand it is better than a lot of cards that have come out over the last few years, but on the other I agree with the issues brought up regarding the dark signing area and the small head shot.

Over all, comparing it against its contemporaries I'd give it a B.
