Blanning: Not saying that I do not think that. As I said not taking any credit away from the Rangers. They have destroyed us this series. Saying that the series is not over, of course my opinion. CC wins tomorrow and then anything could happen. Some needs to wake the Yankees up tonight, tho. IMO
bats that go ping could do it.

Too bad the Yankees can't bring back just released Melky Cabrera to play tomorrow.

Swisher ended any hope in this game in the series in whole. period.
How do you blame one player for a whole team that is long in the tooth. are you a Buckner hater also?

Just another reason why I hate stupid ass Yankee fans.

I can hear it now...

"my frickin bawls are bigga than yourz!!"

"yeeeeahhhh boyyyyyyyyy"

FML

I give up. I shall be a Pirate fan next year. Atleast they lose consistently and don't disappoint. Sigh.

Nick Swisher ended the series.

plain and simple.

Nick Swisher played the game like its supposed to be played. He didn't whine and bitch like Jeter did to get on base. Sorry bud, but thats not real baseball. Thats like Arods handslap a few years ago. Thats being a little bitch.

Swisher was hit by the pitch according to the rules.

Swisher is just a self centered player who would rather do it all himself than help his team actually have a shot to get back in it.

7-4 1 out is better than 7-3 two outs last I checked.

Give me a freaking break dude. It hit his pants it didn't hit his skin. If it had, he would have reacted differently. Quit making excuses. This is why I dislike getting into shat like this. You're a good guy but come on........it hit his pants thats all.

yeah a real man won't admit he is hit if he isn't........unlike that drama queen jeter LOL.

Too bad you don't have the footage of them not reaching onto the field ;)
ept_sports_mlb_experts-457124550-1287542577.jpg

This is the definitive picture that proves fan interference.

1) They reached onto the field of play and obstructed the fielder.
2) The ball was catchable. We can't see the ball in the picture, but mutiple fans have their hands right where they expect the ball to go, which is right above the fielders glove.

Too bad, it could have been an amazing play. At least the Yankees lost so that fan won't be treated as a hero by the Yankee faithful.

I would love to see a pic of this section of "die hard" fans when their club was outscored 10-2 after this so-called "hit".

I figured they headed for the exits when it was 5-3.

They missed the moon shots in the 9th :(

What a first rate *******. Reminds me of the real-life version of the Jersey Shore dudes from the recent South Park. Open letter to everyone I know- you have full permission to punch me square in the face if they ever catch me wearing a hat like that.

this is why there are more yankee haters than yankee fans. i work with alot of yankee fans and this is how they all are very brash and obnoxious. i loved it when they had the worse choke in MLB history losing to Boston. i am going to wear my Texas Rangers Juan Gonzalez game used jersey to work today!

Born and raised in Arlington. Spent many a summer evening listening to Mark Holtz and Eric Nadel call games. I need to dig up my pic with Buddy Bell for luck.
I can't believe the Rangers are on the cusp of the Series.

Born and raised in Texas (not Arlington), but Eric Nadell was the only voice I looked forward to for about 7 years on the radio. Before I had a TV in my room, I listened to probably 70% of Rangers games on the radio. Nothing like falling asleep (or staying up late) listening to the game you love the most.

I may not be a DIE HARD Rangers fan (like I am with the Astros), but I've been a fan of theirs since Dean Palmer, Rusty Greer, Juan Gone, Pudge and the gang were doing their thing in the early-90's.

I would LOVE to see them win the World Series. Not to mention, if Josh Hamilton DOESN'T win the MVP award (for the regular season), the award will lose some of it's luster for me.
