Please tell me Phillips didn't just say "close the hole between his legs".

You might as well say, "Please tell me Phillips didn't talk. And neither did Morgan. Or Miller."
Add in there Luis Tiant and that equals..MUTE. lol

In his defense, Tiant was speaking in his second language, trying to answer ******* questions. It's hard to sound good there.

Pettite wasn't trying to catch that ball? Looks like he put up the glove to catch it.....but thats my perspective. I guess I don't have the knowledge like the ESPN gurus though.

These guys make Buck/McCarver sound like geniuses.

That Tiant session was painful to listen to.

I was thinking the same thing. Reaching up your glove and squeezing might...MIGHT...be misconstrued as trying to catch the ball, but thanks to Joe Morgan, I now see the error of my ways.

Why is it that everytime I watch a "Morgan called" game, do I feel like I am at the back of the shortbus?

A short bus, with Morgan driving, and he has a microphone to share his wisdom with the drivers.

Bay looked like a minor leaguer in that AB. I swear you could stick any random AAA team in this position and they'd be better than the Sox.

I know he's a weird guy but I've got nothin but love for Arod, roids or not. And I'm a Mets fan. I have quite the stash of Arod RC's and anytime I see a decent deal, I can't help but add to it.

I'd call BS on him giving a curtain call in the 7th inning, but, well, this game IS over...

EDIT - OK, Morgan, you can't show how quick Pedroia is by showing the play in slow motion.

same here...didn't get that. I thought he was in for Ellsbury and that would be it. bad move.

Hughes is our 8th inning guy and hasn't pitched much.
