Dec 18 Nick Cafardo, of The Boston Globe, reports the New York Yankees have made a three-year, $66 million offer to free-agent OF Manny Ramirez (Dodgers), according to the New York Daily News.

Based on what I've heard about the market, Manny should be signed by the end of the day if this is legit. If true, this Yankees team is going to go from a bad defensive team to a very bad defensive team. Inflated ERA's for everybody on the staff!

There will be plenty of unearned runs due to errors, but plenty of of earned runs too. Fun regardless.
