Im picking Randy Johnson, for his velocity and the fact that he'd scare away the other kids...

And...

Aside from the funny commercial, who would you pick?

RJ, they had him featured in a commercial couple years ago and he caved in a garage door (I know it was fake).

As an Astros fan, even though he was before my time, I'll go with J.R. Richard. Big, mean, intimidating, and dominant. It's too bad that some hack doctors and team administrators didn't listen to his complaints of arm numbness and fatigue that were precursors to a stroke that ended his career at the age of 30.

Maddux. The drop in velocity would be more than overcome by the pinpoint accuracy. Hitting the opponent at 90 every time would be better than half the time at 100!

I'm going with Cubs pitcher Carl "The Human Icicle" Lundgren. Got his nickname because he always pitched his best when it was the coldest. Plus he was known to have a good fastball and be a little wild.

If Carl's mom won't let him come out and play, my second choice is Sal "The Barber" Maglie. He was never afraid to throw at anyone. Plus he was a mean SOB.

I'm gonna play the numbers game and take Brian Wilson.

With any other pitcher, you're only adding one member to your team. With Brian Wilson, you get him PLUS all the lumberjacks living in his beard.
